Video journalism course in Berlin

Video course in BerlinWe are inviting interested NGO leaders, social and youth workers, educators and active community members to participate in the training seminar The Voice of Europe on December 6-13, 2009 in Berlin. The idea of the seminar is to encourage and qualify citizens to use new media for expressing people’s opinion and for broadcasting local and European citizen’s debates.

Participation in this training seminar means taking part in the media workshops. There will be 3 different groups:

  • group A – training coursevideo journalism (40 hours) – during this training course you will get skills in making video reports. It is required to go through e-learning material before the training seminar in Berlin.
  • group B – media workshops: new media and on-line journalism – this group will learn how to use on-line tools to get a message across. You will learn and also promote the TV debate.
  • group C – web-TV team – this group will learn how to and will conduct citizens debate. This debate will be broadcasted on web-TV.

The basic idea of the project is to encourage and qualify citizens to use new media for expressing people’s opinion and broadcasting local and European citizen’s debates.

During the training seminar in Berlin participants from different European countries will get engaged in workshops made by the European Web-TV team. The main outcome of the workshops will be a citizen’s debate (street interviews and video report included). This debate will be broadcasted on europeanweb.tv and promoted by the use of different on-line tools.
