The training course in Timisoara has started today. Filmmakers and students from Turkey, Poland, United Kingdom, Germany and Romania will attend video journalism and cross-media course. From the 1st till the 8th of July they will learn how to be a web-TV reporter and how to make video reports. The Night of Culture is a cultural manifestation of Lublin city. For two days the city lives in the rhythm of art and artists. Not only the city centre is involved, but also its districts, places known and unknown. Cultural institutions stays open for everyone until the morning hours. Theatres, museums, galleries, philharmonics, libraries, garisson club, concert halls, streets and squares of the city, as well as professional and independent artists, musicians, actors, painters and poets are expecting visitors. Im Vergleich zu der ersten Regionalkonferenz, die den Bürgermedien gewidmet war (Elblag 2008), war diese zweite eindeutig effektvoller: zweitägig, mit größere Zahl der Teilnehmer, mit Gästen aus dem Ausland und mit herausgearbeiteter Stellungnahme als dauerhaftem Beweis der Teilnehmerarbeit (übrigens erschien die Idee der Stellungnahme ad hoc und konnte nur dank Dr. Urszula Doliwa, die über eine Nacht - sic! – den größten Teil bearbeitet hat, verwirklicht werden). Young pople from 5 countries take part in the training course and the film academy called ‘Spotlight on Europe’ in Istanbul. They are learning how to make video reports and at the same time they are producing some reports. We will have the possibility to watch their videos soon on europeanweb.tv platform.
